As Head of Sectoral Protection at the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority, Efrat is responsible for the application of privacy-focused audits in sectors possessing higher privacy risks, as part of the Privacy Protection Authority’s enforcement powers. This allows the Privacy Protection Authority reach many sectors in the economy with limited resources, raise awareness to privacy deficits in each sector and reduce gaps in compliance with legal requirements.

Prior to her work at the PPA, Efrat has held various positions in the Israeli Military Prosecutor’s Office.

Graduate of Tel-Aviv University and Northwestern University holding L.L.B. and L.L.M degrees in Law.
