Martijn Pluim has served as Programme Director at the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) since September 2023. In this role, he oversees EIPA’s faculty and strategic initiatives, focusing on enhancing the capacities of public officials across Europe in areas including digital policy, cyber security, and data protection .

Prior to joining EIPA, Martijn worked over two decades to the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in Vienna. In his last function as Director of the Migration Dialogues and Cooperation Directorate he lead ICMPDs operations in Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.

Martijn holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam.
