Dr. iur. Veronika Sajadova is a skilled Data Protection Expert with a specialisation in comparative data protection practices in the European Union. She is a certified Data Protection Officer in Latvia and Europe (CIPP/E) and is included in the Support Pool of Experts of the EDPB. For six years, she served as a Data Protection Officer of Swedbank Group in Latvia and Chairperson of the GDPR Working Group at the Finance Latvia Association. Additionally, she holds a PhD in International Law and completed her PostDoc at the University of Geneva (Switzerland). With 14 years of experience in the financial sector as a lawyer, researcher, and lecturer, she actively participates in seminars, conferences, and training sessions, and conducts scientific research with publications in data protection.
