Lāsma Dilba is Deputy Director of the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia, with more than 20 years of experience in public administration and a Master’s degree in Law.
She has extensive expertise in legislative drafting and the design and implementation of regulatory reforms. For nearly a decade, she has specialised in personal data protection, contributing to the development of modern supervisory and enforcement practices.
In her current role, she leads key areas related to prevention and supervision, promoting a risk-based and proactive approach to data protection.
She actively contributes to the work of the European Data Protection Board, including the Coordinated Supervision Committee (CSC) and several expert subgroups, supporting consistent application of data protection rules across the EU.
In addition, she is a frequent speaker at professional and academic events, delivering lectures and training on personal data protection.
