PRIVACY NOTICE
This section provides information about the processing of personal data relating to the attendees within the scope of the 34th Spring Conference.
Data Controller
Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), with address at Nasuh Akar Mh. 1407. Sk. No:4, 06520 Çankaya / Ankara, is responsible for processing personal data that you provide in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and other applicable regulations.
Collected Personal Data
The personal data of the attendees collected in the framework of the 34th Spring Conference are:
- Identity data (Full name, title, name of organization etc.)
- Contact data (E-mail address)
- Status of participation regarding sessions, dinners and social events.
The personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- To provide communication with attendees
- To carry out the registration process
- To manage and coordinate Conference organization including social events
- To report and document the Conference
- To promote the visibility of the Conference
We would like to inform our esteemed attendees that no sensitive personal data will be requested for the organization.
The legal basis for the processing personal data
Your personal data processed in accordance with Article 5(1) -regarding the open consent- and the paragraphs listed below of 5 (2) of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698:
ç) It is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject.
e) Data processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of any right.
f) Processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller, provided that this processing shall not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data will not be shared by KVKK with any data controller. Databases in which your data stored are located in the facilities of KVKK.
Data Subjects’ Requests & Applications
You can submit your requests and applications regarding your personal data to KVKK at Nasuh Akar Mah. 1407. Sk. No:4, 06520 Çankaya / Ankara TÜRKİYE and/or to sprinconference@kvkk.gov.tr.
Retention Period
The retention period for the personal data you provide will be for 1 year.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Only the registerees of members and observers of the Spring Conference may attend the Closed Session. Other registrees may only attend the Open Session on the 7 of May.
